Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-9A02

Condition

The central electronic module (CEM) checks the passenger compartment lighting via an output.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that the signal from the output is too low.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed at key positions I and II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable for the passenger compartment lighting
• Open-circuit in signal cable to the passenger compartment lighting.
• Blown fuse.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The interior lighting does not work.
