Condition

The central electronic module (CEM) checks the heated rear windshield.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that the signal in the driver circuit for the heated rear windshield relay is too low.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I or II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground
• Open-circuit in the signal cable.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Rear demist does not operate.
