Installing the Lower Control Arm
Install:
- the lower control arm to the anti-roll bar link (D)
- the lower control arm using the adjustment screw (C) in the bodywork mounting
- the screw (A) for the trailing arm.
Pull the suspension down. Install the screw (B) for the shock absorber.
Tighten all the nuts to contact.
CAUTION:
Bounce the car up and down a few times before torque tightening.
Tighten to:
- the nut (A) on the trailing arm. Tighten to 90 Nm
- the nut (B) on the shock absorber. Tighten to 80 Nm
- the nut (C) on the bodywork mounting (ensure that the adjustment screw is in the same position as it was when removed). Tighten to 80 Nm . Tighten the flanged nut to 90 Nm
- the anti-roll bar link on the lower control arm. Tighten to 45 Nm . Counterhold using a Torx wrench.
