Checking the Adjustment Of the Boost Pressure Control (BPC) Valve
- Remove the heat shield from the exhaust manifold.
- Turn the setting screw on special tool 9995766 clockwise until the pressure in the table is reached. Measure the stroke length of the pressure servo. Use a vernier caliper
- The measured value represents the opening of the boost pressure control (BPC) valve, measured at the end of the lever (A).
NOTE:
Ensure that the valve is closed when the push rod is in the resting position.
