Replacing the headlamp wiper arm: Removal

Push the cover at the wiper arm mounting to one side.

Slacken off the nut two or three turns to protect the threads on the wiper mechanism shaft.

Remove: 

• the wiper arm from wiper arm mechanism by holding a pipe wrench on the nut and pressing off the arm
• the nut
• the wiper arm
• the washer hose.
