Replacing the headlamp wiper arm: Installation

Install: 

• the washer hose
• a new wiper arm
• the nut.

Adjust the position of the wiper arm as shown.

HINT: Adjust the headlamp wiper on the left hand side of the car so that the wiper blade does not catch under the stop when the nut is tightened. Lift the wiper blade above the stop. 

HINT: The wiper blade must be tensioned against the stop as shown. On the right hand side of the car the blade must be above the stop when tightening the nut as shown. 

Tighten the nut: Tighten to 4 Nm 

Test the function of the headlamp washer/wiper.

Check that wiper arms park horizontally.
