Checking components and wiring

HINT: If the cable and the combined instrument panel are fault free the voltage between terminals #A and #C on the fuel level sensor connector must be approximately 5 V. 

Check the signal cable between fuel level sensor terminal #A and combined instrument panel terminal #B17 (#17). Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Remedy as necessary.
