Installing the power brake booster

Clean the power brake booster and the cowl panel.

Install in the engine compartment: 

• A new gasket on the power brake booster
• the power brake booster. Do not damage the power brake booster.

  Ensure that the support rod is correctly positioned on the brake pedal

• the vacuum hose.

Install in the passenger compartment: 

• The four nuts for the power brake booster.

  Tighten to 23 Nm 

• the bolt, washer and spring for the support rod
• the soundproofing panel. Note the wiring for the courtesy lighting
• the screws for the soundproofing panel.
