Checking the wiring

Check the VGLA control module connector for Contact resistance and oxidation .
Check passenger compartment fuse 8. If the fuse is blown, check the circuit after the fuse for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults . For further information about the circuit, see the relevant Wiring Diagram Service Information.

Check the cable between passenger compartment fuse 8 and VGLA control module terminal #A26 (A26) for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .
