IC (inflatable curtain): Preparation

Disconnect the battery lead.

NOTE: Do not fold or twist the IC (inflatable curtain) during removal or installation. No components may be opened. Do not remove, slacken off or tighten any screws.

NOTE: The IC (inflatable curtain) module must be handled with both hands, with one hand encompassing the gas generator.

NOTE: The IC (inflatable curtain) module must be kept level.

NOTE: Avoid twisting or bending the IC (inflatable curtain) module as much as is possible.

NOTE: The IC (inflatable curtain) module must be returned if there is any "visible damage".
