Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) DIM-17 is stored if the signal to the trip odometer reset function is too low for more than 60 seconds.

Substitute Value 

None.

Possible Source 

• short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
• the trip odometer reset button is pressed in for more than 60 seconds
• the trip odometer reset button is mechanically or electrically defective.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The trip odometer display shows no value.
