Faulty signal: Verification

HINT: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.

• Ignition off
• Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
• Start the engine. Read off the fuel consumption value in the driver information module (DIM).

  Check that the fuel consumption value is within its permitted range. The value is approximately 1-2 liters when the engine is idling.

Is the fuel consumption value within the permitted range? 

• YES 

  VERIFIED:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
