Checking the resistance in the cable

• Ignition off.
• Disconnect the central locking system control module from the connector, Checking the 10-CD changer .
  CAUTION: Avoid touching the control module terminal pins. There is a risk of static discharge which may damage the control module.

  Connect an ohmmeter between SRS control module connector #40 and central locking system connector #A10. Check for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

The ohmmeter should read approximately 0 Ω. 

• OK 

  Refer to Check the central locking system cable for a short-circuit to ground 

• NOT OK 

  Refer to Replacing the component
