Check the central locking system cable for a short-circuit to ground

• Ignition off.
• Disconnect the battery negative lead.
• Connect the SRS control module connector.
• The connector for the central locking system control module must be disconnected.

  Connect an ohmmeter between ground and central locking system connector #10A.

The ohmmeter should read approximately 1.2 MΩ. 

• OK

• NOT OK 

  Refer to Checking the cable between the central locking system control module and the SRS control module
