Checking wiring and connectors

Check the childlock switch and VGLA control module connectors for Contact resistance and oxidation .

Check the cable between VGLA control module #A7 (A7) and childlock switch #3 and the cable between childlock switch #5 and ground for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Remedy as necessary.

• NO 

  Refer to Replacing the component

Check the cable between childlock switch 2 and VGLA control module #A21 (A21) for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Remedy as necessary.
