Checking the unlocking signal from the childlock switch

• Ignition on.

  Read off the childlock switch status.

  Press the childlock switch to its unlocking position.

  The value should be LOW when the childlock switch is depressed to its unlocking position.

  NOTE: A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the childlock switch is held in the unlocking position for more than 10 seconds with the ignition on.

Is the value OK? 

• OK 

  FAULT NOT FOUND:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NOT OK
