Checking signal from hood switch: Verification

HINT: After carrying out the repair check that the fault has been remedied as follows:

• Ignition off.
• Reconnect the connectors, reinstall components etc.
• Ignition on.

  Read off the hood switch status.

  Open and close the hood.

  The value should be HIGH when the hood is open and LOW when the hood is closed.

Are these readings OK? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
