Checking the hood switch and wiring

Check the hood switch connector for Contact resistance and oxidation .

Check the cable between VGLA control module #A3 (A3) and hood switch #1 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults , and a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .

Check the cable between hood switch #2 and ground for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Try a new hood switch if no fault is found.
