Programming lock and alarm functions
Turn signal lamp acknowledgment signal
This parameter governs the operation of the turn signal lamp acknowledgment signal during arming/disarming.
The following three settings are available:
- NO FLASH AT ARM AND DISARM: Indicates if there is no lamp acknowledgment via the turn signal lamps when the alarm is activated or deactivated
- FLASH AT ARM: Displays if there is a lamp acknowledgment when the alarm is armed
- FLASH AT ARM AND DISARM: Displays if there is a light response when both activation and deactivation of the alarm.
This function is market dependent, contact a manager if uncertain of this function.
- ALARM: Displays if the control module is configured for an alarm
- ULTRASONIC SENSOR: Displays if the control module is configured for an ultrasonic sensor
- MASS MOVEMENT SENSOR: Displays whether the control module is configured for a mass movement sensor
- GLASS BREAKAGE SENSOR: Displays whether the control module is configured for a glass breakage sensor
- RESISTIVE WIRE GLASS SENSOR: Displays whether the control module is configured for alarm wire in the rear windows (applies to 5 door models only)
- TILT SENSOR: Displays whether the control module is configured for a tilt sensor
- CENTRAL LOCKING SWITCH: This parameter controls whether the car can be locked with the interior central locking switches with the driver's door open and then remain locked when the door is closed
- IMMOBILIZER: This parameter controls the LED function in the dashboard indicating when the immobilizer is activated when the ignition is switched off. Applies only if the car is not equipped with an alarm.
This function is market dependent, contact a manager if uncertain of this function.
- INTERLOCK: This parameter governs the start inhibitor switch function with the clutch pedal released
This function is market dependent, contact a manager if uncertain of this function.
- AUTOMATIC ALARM ACTIVATION: This parameter controls the automatic alarm activation, the alarm is activated after the ignition is switched off and the driver's door opened and all other doors shut.
This function is market dependent, contact a manager if uncertain of this function.
- ARM ALARM VIA KEY: This parameter controls the function for activating the alarm using a key.
This function is market dependent, contact a manager if uncertain of this function.
- DISARM ALARM VIA KEY: This parameter controls the function deactivating the alarm using the key.
This function is market dependent, contact a manager if uncertain of this function.
- ARM ALARM VIA CENTRAL LOCKING SWITCH: This parameter controls the function activating the alarm using the interior central locking switches with the door open.
This function is market dependent, contact a manager if uncertain of this function.
- PANIC ALARM: This parameter controls the function to deploy the alarm using the remote control. This function requires that the remote control is equipped with an extra red button
- LOCK TYPE: This parameter governs the lock function. NORM is normal central locking. TWO STAGE requires two impulses from the remote control or the door lock cylinder to open all doors. One pulse unlocks only the driver's door.
BLL is Blocked Lock Position (deadlock). The lock is deadlocked shortly after locking. This means that the doors cannot be opened from the inside.
NOTE: The car must be equipped with this type of lock unit (BLL)If the car is unlocked using the remote control and no doors are opened, the car will lock itself after two minutes. If the car has an alarm, the alarm is armed again.
The car is locked in standard mode, it is not deadlocked
- AUDIBLE ACKNOWLEDGMENT SIGNAL: This parameter governs the type of audible acknowledgment signal. Select between SIREN A1 or HORN depending on the equipment level in the car
- BODY TYPE: This parameter governs the type of car body the VGLA control module is programmed for. Select between 4D (4 door) 5D (5 door, CAB (convertible) or COUPE.
