Positioning guard plate

Clean the section of the bumper surface that will be covered by the guard plate
Position the guard plate as illustrated. Ensure that the lateral ribs are centered with the corresponding grooves in the bumper. The lower edges of the guard plate and bumper must be parallel and preferably edge to edge.
