Replace parking brake lever

Remove the parking brake lever

Remove the nut (1) for adjuster for the parking brake. Pull out the cable.

Disconnect the warning lamp connector (2).

Remove the three screws (3) holding the bracket for the parking brake lever. Remove the lever.

Install the parking brake lever

Install: 

• the new bracket with brake lever in its mountings. Tighten to 25 Nm (18.4 lb. ft) 
• the warning lamp connector
• the cable to the brake lever
• the adjuster nut.
