Removing the panels under the dashboard

Only applies to model year 2000- cars 

Remove the lower panel on the driver's side by pressing the clip together.

Remove: 

• the side panels on the center console according to Center console panels 
• the lower panel on both the driver's and passenger sides
• the wiring for the courtesy lighting.

Open the glove compartment.

Remove: 

• the two screws
• the storage compartment using a twisting movement.
