Installing The SRS Control Module

Install 3 screws (Torx 30). Tightening torque for the control module:10 Nm  .

CAUTION:

The screws have pressed sheet metal threads and must be positioned so that the existing thread is not damaged. Take care not to damage the ground plate during installation.

NOTE:

Use the old screws. When using replacement screws, use a type approved for connection to ground.

CAUTION:

It is important that the control module is securely mounted onto the bodywork if it is to operate properly.

The electrical connection to ground is direct via the ground terminal which is connected by one fixing screw. It is therefore very important that the mounting screws are in good contact with the bodywork.

Other components are reinstalled in reverse order.
