Final Check

WARNING:

Ensure that nobody is in the car when the battery is being connected.

When all components have been installed:

set the ignition to position II.
connect the battery negative lead.

Check that:

The SRS indicator lamp in the combined instrument panel is not lit constantly.
Fault-trace if the lamp is lit constantly.

NOTE:

Check that the SRS warning lamp is not defective by turning the key to position II. The SRS warning lamp should light and go out after approximately 3 seconds.
