Checking EVAP valve

Remove following to gain access to EVAP valve:

Valve from bracket
Soundproofing from valve

Remove/disconnect:

tool 9995545 and pressure regulator 9995544 from fresh air hose
hoses from EVAP valve
connector
Connect hose from vacuum pump 9995843 to connection point under connector.
Pump up vacuum
Vacuum gauge should indicate steady value.
If vacuum falls, replace EVAP valve.

Reinstall valve, hoses, soundproofing and connector on completion of check. Use clamp 9814215 and new hose clip, P/N 97 81 65-9, when installing.
