Checking kickdown function: Verification

HINT: After repairs have been completed they must be verified as follows to ensure that the fault has been eliminated:

Ignition off.
Reconnect connectors, reinstall components.
Ignition on.
Go into scrolling value.
Read off kickdown switch (KD) position.
The reading should only be ON if the accelerator pedal (AP) is depressed to kickdown position. For other accelerator pedal (AP) positions the reading should be OFF.
