Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Condition
If the control module registers that voltage on any of the cables to the damper motor is too low when the motor is activated, or too high when the motor is not activated diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 3-4-2 is stored.
Substitute Value
Control module prevents motor from activating for as long as the fault persists.
Possible Source
- System signal cable short-circuited to ground or supply.
- Open-circuit on the system signal cable.
- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Defective damper motor.
Fault symptom[s]
- The REC button orange indicator LED flashes once when the ignition is turned on.
