Checking the Connectors

- Ignition off.
- Remedy outside temperature sensor and control module connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact Resistance And Oxidation

Check any damage etc.
- Reinstall components, reconnect connectors etc.
- Ignition on.
- Read off outside temperature.
Check that the outside temperature is within its permitted range. Compare with the actual air temperature.
If temperature is now OK this indicates that the fault was caused by poor contact in the connectors.
