Checking Damper Motor Recirculation Function

Ignition on.
Start the blower fan or let the engine idle.
Read off the damper motor position sensor.
Activate damper motor by engaging and disengaging the REC function using buttons on the control panel. Allow damper motor to go the limit position between selection/de-selection.
Check that position sensor value changes when the REC function is engaged/disengaged. If value changes this indicates that damper motor is OK.

YES
