Blocked pipes on the suction or pressure side. Alternatively a break in the pipes or connections. Alternatively the tank is incorrectly connected or the fuel level in the tank is too low.
The fuel line is blocked if the fuel pump (FP) starts to tick and then goes silent after a while. Rectify the fault or replace the lead. See Replacement (Cleaning) Of Fuel Pipe/Fan Motor .
