Checking the Function Of the Water Pump

- Ignition off.
- Connect the water pump 2-pin connector to the water pump
- Disconnect the 2-pin connector with the yellow and green cable in the wheel arch member (terminal 10 at the control module supplies power to both the water pump and the blower fan, yellow cable)
- Bridge between terminal 10 and 2 (12 V) at the control module connectors.NOTE: Do not run the water pump dry. Doing this will damage the seals.
The water pump must circulate coolant.
