Checking the Signal Cable To the Heater

Connect a voltmeter between terminal 6 (green cable) and 3 (ground) at the timer 8-pin connector.
The voltmeter should read 0 V.

- Start the heater by pressing the red start/stop button (1) for the timer.

The voltmeter must read a minimum 10 V (slightly lower than battery-voltage).

Connect a voltmeter between terminal 2 (green cable) and 1 (ground) at the timer 10-pin connector (timer should be installed to the connector).
The voltmeter should read 0 V
Start the heater by pressing the timer start/stop button (1).
