Checking For An Open-Circuit

Check the black ground lead from the 2-pin connector terminal 1 in the wheel arch member to terminal 2 in the 2-pin connector for the blower fan at the fan housing. Check for an open-circuit according to Open-Circuit, Permanent Faults .
Check that the 2-pin connectors are connected to the connectors at the fan housing by one red cable and one black cable (can be confused with another connector).

Select "Continue" when the fault has been remedied.

Continue
OKAY: Troubleshooting has been completed.

Check the red cable from the 2-pin connector terminal 2 in the wheel arch member to terminal 1 in the 2-pin connector connected to the blower fan at the fan housing. Check for an open-circuit according to Open-Circuit, Permanent Faults .
Check that the 2-pin connectors are connected to the connectors at the fan housing by one red cable and one black cable (can be confused with another connector).

Check the green signal lead from the 2-pin connector terminal 2 in the wheel arch member to the control module 8-pin connector terminal 5. Check for an open-circuit. See Open-Circuit, Permanent Faults .
