Checking the Combustion Fan, Phase 2

Start the heater.
The following alternatives are available:
1. The combustion fan rotates momentarily. Refer to Checking the Glow Phase, Phase 3 .
2. There is no sound from the heater. Refer to Checking the Heater Connections .
3. The combustion fan "whirrs" for a brief moment and then is silent. Refer to Checking the Heater Connections .
4. The control module relays click once and are then silent. Refer to Checking the Heater Connections .
5. The control module relays click and then the water pump, blower fan and glow plug operate. Refer to Checking the Combustion Fan Motor .
6. The water pump and blower fan start and operate continuously without any preliminary diagnostic phase. Refer to Checking the Operating Thermostat .
