Checking Solar Sensor (ECC): Verification

Ignition off.
Reinstall connectors, components etc.
Ignition on.
Read off sun sensor signal.
Mask the sun sensor, and read the value. Remove masking and aim a strong light source at close range at the sun sensor.

NOTE: The value from the sun sensor is updated slowly, so keep the masking/light source in place for approximately 20 seconds.

Check that the value changes.

Does the sun sensor value change?

YES
OKAY: Troubleshooting has been completed.
NO
