Checking Cables

Check the ECC control module and sun sensor connectors for Contact Resistance And Oxidation .

Check ground lead between ECC control module #B10 and sun sensor terminal 4 for an open-circuit according to Open-Circuit, Permanent Faults

Check signal cable between ECC control module #B9 and sun sensor terminal 2 for an open-circuit according to Open-Circuit, Permanent Faults , a short-circuit to ground according to Short-Circuit To Ground, Permanent Faults , and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-Circuit To Supply Voltage. Permanent Faults .

If cables are OK, try a new sun sensor.

Remedy as necessary.
