Checking Pressure

- Connect filling point low pressure side (blue hose) to service valve.
- Start the engine and allow to run at 1500-1600 RPM.
- Place blower fan switch in the lowest active manual position.
- Switch air conditioning (A/C) switch to on.
- Switch REC-switch to on.
Check that the compressor switches to in and out within the specified values:
The compressor should switch on at 295-325 kPa.
The compressor should switch off at 150-170 kPa.
Does the compressor switch in and out within the specified values?
- YES

- NO
- Connect filling point low pressure side (blue hose) to service valve.
- Start the engine and allow to run at 1500-1600 RPM.

- Switch air conditioning (A/C) switch to on.
- Switch REC-switch to on.
Check that the compressor switches to in and out within the specified values:
The compressor should switch on at 295-325 kPa.
The compressor should switch off at 150-170 kPa.
The following options are available:
- The compressor is on constantly over 325 kPa. Refer to Checking A Missing Component .
- The compressor switches on too high (above 325 kPa), or off too low (under 150 kPa). Refer to Replacing Component .
- The compressor switches in and out within the specified values. Refer to Checking For Leakage .
- The compressor switches in and out within the specified values, but is shut off for a long period of time. Refer to Checking Blocked Expansion Pipe .
