Self-Adjustment Of the Shutter Motor End Position

NOTE: Self-adjustment must be carried out if the control module or damper motor is replaced or the damper motor or its linkage has been removed. Anew control module will cause the green indicator LED on the air conditioning (A/C) switch to flash until self-adjustment has been carried out. The green LED on the air conditioning (A/C) switch will flash until the self-adjustment of a new control module has been carried out. When self-adjusting has been correctly completed, the green indicator LED will stop flashing.

HINT: During self-adjustment the control module runs the damper motors to their limit positions. The control module then stores the value returned from the position sensor for the damper motor. The control module is then able to operate the motor between the limit positions during normal operation.

Start the engine (the generator charges)
Use the Adjusting Motors function to activate self-adjusting on the damper motors. This takes approximately thirty seconds.
Select one of the following options:
1. Exit self-adjustment. Refer to Verification .
2. Read data about problems during self-adjustment. Refer to Checking Causes Of No Self-Adjustment .
