Checking open-circuit/oxidation

Engines with control module MSA 15.7; check the cable between breakout box terminal #50 (#4) and engine control module (ECM) #B36 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Engines with control module ME7, DENSO and MSA 15.8, check the cable between breakout box terminal #50(#4) and engine control module (ECM)) #B22 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

On engines with control module Fenix 5.2, check the cable between breakout box terminal #48(#2) and engine control module (ECM) #B5 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Check ground terminals and switches for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .
