Checking antenna ring

• Ignition off.
• Disconnect antenna ring
• Connect an ohmmeter between terminal #2 and #4 on the antenna ring.

  The ohmmeter should read approximately 5 Ω.

  NOTE:

  Note that the antenna ring casing should be gray at the connector if it is the correct antenna ring for immobilizer generation 3.

Is the reading OK? 

• OK 

  Refer to Checking antenna ring circuit 

• NOT OK 

  Refer to Replacing antenna ring
