Checking cables and terminals

Check EVAP canister shut-off valve and/or control module connector for contact resistance and oxidation. Contact resistance and oxidation , and loose connections. Loose connections (terminals) .

Check cable between EVAP canister shut-off valve terminal 1 and main relay (2/32) terminal 3 for an intermittent open-circuit. Open-circuit, intermittent faults .

Check cable between EVAP canister shut-off valve terminal 2 and engine control module (ECM) #B19 for an intermittent open-circuit. Open-circuit, intermittent faults .
