Modification of crankcase ventilation with new cylinder head/engine

From engine number 139320 (approximately chassis number 098900) a modified crankcase ventilation has been introduced into production. A hose was added from the oil trap to the cylinder head. Only the later type of cylinder heads and engine are available as replacement parts

Replacing cylinder head/engine

When replacing a cylinder head or engine, the crankcase ventilation must be upgraded to the later type.

The later type of oil trap has to be installed when replacing a cylinder head.
A hose has to be installed from the oil trap to the cylinder head.
A new ignition cable kit with a longer cable must be installed
