Loosen the camshaft cover

Install:

tool 9995454 with 2-3 mm clearance to the camshaft cover.
NOTE:
Make sure that the screws in the spark plug wells are tightened all the way in.

Remove

all screws that hold the camshaft cover.
the camshaft cover with pliers 9995670 by the snap-in lugs.
Start with cylinder 1 and work alternately backward.
wing nuts approx. 2 turns.
Repeat the procedure with the pliers.

Remove the tools.

Remove the camshaft cover.

Mark up and remove the camshafts.
