Clean the gasket surfaces

Clean:
- exhaust connections on manifold/cylinder head.
- engine block's gasket face.
- coolant pipe's gasket face.
- gasket face between the cylinder head's top and bottom half.
NOTE:
Use a soft putty knife and gasket solvent, if needed, part no.: 116 1440.
A metal scraper may not be used.
A fume hood or extractor must be used when using gasket solvent.
The surfaces must be completely clean.
