Plugging the hose as far as the clutch master cylinder

Use hose pliers (at the master cylinder).

Remove the retaining clip from the clutch pipe junction.

Disconnect the pipe from the junction.

NOTE:

Seal the openings against contamination. Wipe up any spilled brake fluid.
