Communication failure

Communication has been interrupted due to one of the following reasons:

lead is disconnected
ignition is switched off

Check that lead to DCLA is properly attached.

As a result of the communication failure, the following alternatives are available:

Make another try.
Refer to Reading off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
Fault-trace according to communication problems.
Refer to Communication problems with Volvo Scan Tool (ST)
Exit.
