Installing Front Seat

Install seat. Align seat rail guide pins with their holes in the floor.
Connect connectors to the front seat (under the seat by the front edge of the seat rail).
WARNING: Ensure that nobody is in the car when the battery is being connected.
Ignition on.

Connect battery negative lead.

Seat should be as far back as possible.
Install 2 mounting bolts (14 mm) and panel to front edge of the seat rails. Seat rail tightening torque = 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
Push seat forward.
Install 2 mounting bolts (14 mm) and panels in the rear edge of the seat rails. Seat rail tightening torque = 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
Install seat belt to seat mounting (1 x 12 mm bolt). Seat belt mounting tightening torque = 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).

NOTE: The outer rear mounting bolt is tightened last. Otherwise the seat may not be properly aligned.
