Removing the Center Console

Disconnect the connectors at the front of the center console.

Apply the parking brake. Move the gear selector lever into neutral.

Remove

the 2 Torx 15 screws at the front of the center console.
the cover for the handbrake opening.
the panel in the center console locker.
NOTE: Detach the rear edge of the panel first.
the 2 Torx 20 screws under the panel in the center console locker.

Carefully lift the center console and move it back a little at the same time.
NOTE: If the car has a manual gearbox, the gear shift gaiter must be freed from the center console before the center console is removed.
