Front Seat With Pre-Fitted SIPS Bag, Replacing: Preparations

WARNING: The SIPS bag must not be repaired. Deformed front seats are replaced complete with a pre-fitted SIPS bag.

If the SIPS bag has not detonated

First secure the SIPS bag

Fold up the seat compartment. Lift up the front edge and press the compartment backward.
Remove the transport lock from the holder on the inside of the seat compartment.
Install the transport lock on the sensor unit.
