Replaced SRS Airbags/Seat Belt Tensioners: Handling

Non-deployed airbag modules/pyrotechnical seat belt tensioners must not be deployed either in the car or when removed.

Remove them according to instructions.

Replaced airbag modules/pyrotechnical seat belt tensioners should be returned to Volvo according to standard procedures.

WARNING: Airbag modules/pyrotechnical seat belt tensioners must never be taken apart, repaired or transferred to another vehicle.

WARNING: Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instrument to take readings on a disconnected non-deployed airbag/pyrotechnical seat belt tensioner. This could deploy the airbag/pyrotechnical seat belt tensioner
